Three days, one hotel, no backtracking.
A three-day long weekend that keeps Paphos as your only base. You spend day one on foot among the city's UNESCO-listed mosaics and rock-cut royal tombs, day two driving inland through Aphrodite's Rock to a Troodos wine village, and day three on the Coral Bay coast at the edge of the Akamas. The route loops out and back each day, so you unpack once and never chase a second hotel.
Five days of Cyprus highlights without backtracking
A five-day self-drive route across the Republic of Cyprus that starts in Paphos for the UNESCO archaeological sites, runs north into the Akamas for the Blue Lagoon, moves to Limassol for the Roman city of Kourion, and climbs into the Troodos mountains before ending near Larnaca. It moves steadily west to east, so you never double back across the island.
One week, one loop, the whole south of the island.
A seven-day self-drive loop through the south of Cyprus. Start in Paphos with Roman mosaics and the Akamas, cross to Limassol for the castle, Kourion and a wine-village afternoon, climb into the Troodos mountains, drop down to Larnaca and the salt lake, then finish on the white sand and sea caves of Ayia Napa and Cape Greco. Distances are short and the motorways are toll-free, so you spend far more time at sights than behind the wheel.
Ten days, west to east, no backtracking
A ten-day plan for travelers who want to see the Republic of Cyprus properly without rushing. It runs west to east so you never double back: start in Paphos for the ancient sites and a full day in the Akamas and Polis-Latchi, climb into the Troodos mountains for the painted churches, monasteries, and wine villages, drop down to Limassol and its castle and Kourion, then settle in Larnaca with a day trip to the old town of south Nicosia. The trip finishes in the southeast around Ayia Napa, Protaras, and Cape Greco with slower beach time before you fly out of Larnaca. Built around a rental car, with realistic drives (most legs under an hour on free motorways) and time left to swim, eat, and slow down.
Beaches, mountains, ancient ruins and wine villages at an unhurried pace
Fourteen days across the government-controlled south of Cyprus, moving west to east so you never double back. Three or four nights each in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca and the eastern resorts, with full beach days and day trips to the Akamas, the Troodos mountains, the wine villages and Nicosia. A hire car makes the whole loop work.
